Glycerin Soap are not all made the same way. Below are some facts about glycerin soap:

Not all glycerin soap is created the same:
Most of the commercial type glycerin soap is made from petroleum by-products, and then glycerin is added to these petroleum by-products to create the commercial type glycerin soap.  Our Glycerin soap is made of vegetable oils.

Some Glycerin Soap contain alcohol:
Alcohol is used in commercial type glycerin soap to make it translucent. Alcohol drys the skin. Our glycerin soap is clear (not translucent) and is alcohol free.

Some glycerin soap contain Glycol:
Glycol is a cheap petrolium product used instead of the natural vegetable oils in soap making. Our glycerin soap is is glycol free.

Here are few tests you can do to check the Quality of glycerin soap

How to melt Glycerin Soap
(Easy, Simple, & Fun!)

Melt in a pot on the stove on very low. When melted, add few drops  of food coloring, and  few drops of your favorite fragrant or essential oil, and stir thoroughly .  Pour in plastic molds,  let dry. Placing mold in freezer for few minutes will help release the  soap from the mold.
You can use any plastic container as a mold, or you can find plastic molds in you local art and craft store, in the candy  making section.
You can also melt the soap by using a double boiler.
